 As part of the Italian Digital Library project promoted by the General Direction for Library Heritage and Cultural Institutes of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Institute and Museum of the History of Science has begun a new thematic digital library project for the digitalization of printed works connected to the Galilean School. The realization of a Digital Library of the Galilean School will enrich and supplement the already sizeable digital collection of Galilean documents. Much of the collection is housed at the National Central Library of Florence and the library of the Institute and Museum of the History of Science.
