Gli strumenti della scienza (The Instruments of Science)
Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienza

This series presents a thorough picture of some of the most representative scientific instruments, through simple but rigorous texts, accompanied by illustrations and diagrams. The books are accompanied by CD-ROMs which illustrate the operations of the instruments through the most advanced multimedia technologies, and by facsimile copies of the instruments themselves, which can be used to experiment with their operation.

  1. Il compasso di Galileo (Galileo's Compass), with accompanying CD ROM and cardboard reproduction of the geometric and military compass of G. Galilei, edited by F. Camerota, 2004.
  2. Il giovilabio (The Jovilabe) - In preparation.
