For the first time, 400 glass objects originating, for the most part, from Pompeii and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, 13 murals found in the area of Vesuvius and ten busts from the Uffizi Gallery in Florence cross the borders of Italy to be presented in the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris, France.

This is the French edition of the exhibition Vitrum - Glass Between Art and Science in the Roman World, presented in Florence at the Museo degli Argenti of Palazzo Pitti from March 27, 2004 to January 16, 2005.
