Description


Terrestrial telescope consisting of six sections. The cardboard tubes are covered with paper of various colours. The largest tube contains the eyepiece, the smallest contains the objective. All the lenses are biconvex. Erector V.15 belongs to this telescope. The fourth section is not original. This instrument can enlarge objects about 10 times. It is a telescope typical of the first years of the eighteenth century, but not of Italian construction.
