Description

Telescope consisting of a wooden walking stick with brass fittings, with a screw top. The objective lens is in the end, and is visible when the brass point is unscrewed. The composite eyepiece is in the top part of the stick. It is not really a true scientific instrument but more of a curiosity datable to the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century.
